The question we get asked more often than any other these days is . . . “Is the construction done?” And – the answer is — almost! It’s so close to being done that we can taste it! We’ll be sure to let you know just as soon as you can come explore not only the expanded space, but all the changes in our existing space as well – new vendors, new products from existing suppliers, and a coffee shop soon to follow.

February is the month for love – check out the history of Valentine’s Day in our attached newsletter, and come in to see the vast array of gifts to chose from!

Happy New Year!
We hope that you had a festive holiday season and that you are adapting well getting back into your regular routine. I have just come back from three weeks away, having spent Christmas in Canada with family that I hadn’t seen in over two and a half years!

Have a look at this month’s featured product in our attached newsletter. Come in and have a look around – we have lots of wonderful products coming in every week. We look forward to seeing you soon! January 26 will be the day when we celebrate national days for Cuba, Sudan, Australia and India. Come in with your ID showing citizenship of any of these 4 countries, or of employment at their embassy / high commission, and get 10% off!

Merry Christmas! We want to take this opportunity to extend our warmest wishes for the holiday season. We expect that we will see many of you in here on our National Days (particularly the Kenyans on Dec 12!). Attached is our newsletter for this month – look for your flag, and come in on your country’s special day!

If you have missed out on the bazaars this season, never fear – every day is a bazaar at Spinners Web – we have over 200 suppliers, ranging from self-help groups, widows’ & orphans’ groups, independent artisans, plus well-established workshops, all producing export-quality hand-made goods.

For those of you who will be traveling, we wish you safiri salama. For those of you who will be in town, please stop by and have a look at the progress on our expansion (it is almost done – we are very excited about the new space, the new suppliers, and the products that we will be unveiling in the new year!).

And lastly, Happy New Year! We hope that 2011 will be the best year ever for us, and for you!

No matter what ‘holiday’ you are celebrating, come and see us for all your gift-giving needs!

Our gift registry extends to beyond weddings – you can register for any occasion, so that when people want to buy things for you, just send them to us, and we can show them those items that you have already picked out as favourites.

We continue to get all sorts of wonderful and creative items for the festive season and we are open every day for your shopping enjoyment! And for those of you who don’t like to shop, we will help you get it all done painlessly!

And – we continue with our celebration of National Days (see the attached newsletter for this month’s countries).

Greetings! Attached is our October newsletter, and as you can see, we’re celebrating Christmas in October!

Come out and join us on October 24 – there will be demonstrations of some of the arts and crafts actually being made; you can try your hand at pottery. Specials from major suppliers, raffles, and more! For those of you who need to send your gifts abroad, it is recommended that you post them by early November so that they get to their destinations on time . . . this will allow you to get done early, and sit back and relax!

We also continue with our celebration of National Days – China, Cyprus, Nigeria, Germany, Uganda, Spain Zambia, Austria, and Turkey have their special days this month.

Construction of our new facilities continues. Check out the expanded list of vendors in the newsletter!

Happy September! I’m sure that those of you with school-age children are looking forward to a return to ‘normal’ schedules! Attached is our September newsletter – we continue our “Celebration of National Days” – be sure to look for your country’s flag to see when you get your discount!
